Spirit of the Slider Class is to bring an affordable, entry level class for the
new racer. Our rules package focuses on limited "SPEED" upgrades. That is why
the motors and batteries are limited as they are. Most of the upgrades allowed
are for "durability" and a minor amount of tuning. Because this is a relatively
new class to the Oval scene if you have suggestions for improvement of the class
feel free to let us know. Just be reminded that the goal is affordability and
entry level in nature.
As for now we will not be considering a Modified
Slider class as it would serve to take away from the entry level car counts. We
would like to see a solid year under our belts to feel out the "Stock" Slider
class before splitting it into a "Stock" and "Modified" class. This one is for
the new guys so let's give our support!
