After some initial concern about the original size and layout of the Juniata R/C Speedway we have taken a lot of things into consideration from YOU the driver. After talking to several local and regional racers here is the new track layout for the speedway. You'll notice that the new driveline is 240', the track now includes a pit lane, and we have dropped our banking to 18 degrees in the turns and 8 degrees in the straights. From the feedback we received this appears to be a more well rounded layout and should lend itself to better racing. The pit lane itself is slotted to be 6-8' wide and will allow for drivers to enter and exit the track surface safely. The driver's stand construction is still being planned as to accommodate everyone's needs. Driver comfort, Line of sight to the racing surface, and handicap accessibility are priorities we are looking at. 
Another area of track construction we are discussing is retaining wall construction and the surfaces inner barrier. We have received a lot of ideas so far so please keep them coming! Our goal is to bring YOU the racer all the things that make dirt oval racing fun, competitive, and safe.
