We have four big races planned for the 2009 season. The first in May is The Lester Minich Late Model Memorial Race,  then in Aug. The PA Tour and The Dash for Cash, and in Sept. we have a 2 day race. The Outlaw Nitro Series, which is run what you brung race. The classes for this race are Nitro L8 Models, Nitro 8th Sprints, 10th nitro sprints, 10th Late Models, and 10th nitro bombers truck based chassis. We would like to take time to thank those involved with track maintenance. The support from our sponsors, the behind the scenes people, and loyal R/C racers. We at JRC Speedway are very excited about the 2009 racing season and the many great things to come at JRC Speedway.

 Spring Late Model Race Contest

Congratulations to siggy99x on the name for the all late model race. Do to recent events the name of the race will be The Lester Minich Late Model Memorial Race. The race is being held May 24, 2009.

For the new season we will no longer provide house transponder. Also we will be using the National Dirt Oval Rules for our track. Their are a few class exceptions, TBA.

 

 FRIDAY NIGHT RACING

Gates open at 3:00, practice starts a 6:00, and racing starts between 7:45 & 8:00.

Sign ups and Teching is between 6:00 & 7:30

The next big thing we would like to do is to personally thank Port Royal Speedway for all that they have done to make this facility possible. Our track will be located in the infield at the nationally renown Port Royal Speedway. They have been extremely supportive in this venture and we cannot begin to thank them for their efforts. We cannot think of a better place for an R/C dirt oval facility than right in the heart of full-scale dirt track! THANK YOU from all the staff at Juniata R/C Speedway!!!
