Raceday gates will open at 9:00 hope to see you there

The first practice session at JRC Speedway was a huge success with a lot of the local racers in attendance. The rains came Saturday night and left us with a nice lake of water but that wouldn't keep racers out of this track! The cars quickly found the long straights and banked corners to their liking during the first day of practice. The facility, stand, and track surface are coming along nicely and things are looking great for the upcoming racing season. Also we would like to welcome Adam Lebkicher to JRC.

We would like to take time to thank those involved with track construction and maintenance and a the fine folks at Rickenbaugh Hardware. The support from the community, our sponsors, the behind the scenes people, and loyal R/C racers have made this project go very seamlessly. We at JRC Speedway are very excited about the upcoming racing season and the many great things to come at the
JRC Speedway.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

It has been just a few weeks since the Official Announcement for Juniata R/C Speedway is making headlines. With news of the facility spreading across the internet, local communities, and beyond the spirits are high. Our track founder and manager Del Grijalva sat down with Missy Guiser to talk about the new R/C track @ Port Royal. Some key notes included talking about the growth of R/C racing in the area, the positive impacts on kids and their parents in the community, and the enthusiasm that 1/10th scale Radio Controlled racing will bring to the already renowned Port Royal Speedway.
Some of the points Grijalva made during the interview discussed the popularity of R/C racing not only in the Northeast but in other areas. He noted that Nascar Champion Tony Stewart was a big part of R/C with his involvement with Custom Works. Another huge impact locally Grijalva noted was with the kids which are the future of our sport and community. Said Grijalva, "I want parents and kids to be able to enjoy this together. There aren't a lot of activities around here, and I'm thrilled that this is something that they can do in a safe environment." This thought along with many others has been echoed across the region with the building of the Juniata R/C Speedway. The facility has been given a lot of backing from Port Royal Speedway and for that Del has be very grateful. Without their support the Juniata R/C Speedway would not be possible today.

The next big thing we would like to do is to personally thank Port Royal Speedway for all that they have done to make this facility possible. Our track will be located in the infield at the nationally renown Port Royal Speedway. They have been extremely supportive in this venture and we cannot begin to thank them for their efforts. We cannot think of a better place for an R/C dirt oval facility than right in the heart of full-scale dirt track! THANK YOU from all the staff at Juniata R/C Speedway!!!
